The short answer
Search the Amazon Appstore for IPTV Smarters Pro, install it, and sign in with your Xtream Codes details — server URL including the port, username, password. If your region’s store does not carry the player you want, enable Apps from Unknown Sources and install via Downloader, which is a supported Amazon setting rather than a hack.
Before you start
- Your MizoIPTV credentials — the server URL, username and password we send after your order.
- The Fire Stick already on your Wi-Fi and signed into an Amazon account.
- The Fire TV app on your phone. It turns your phone into a keyboard, which makes entering a long password tolerable rather than miserable.
- Ten minutes. Most of it is typing.
Route A: the Amazon Appstore (try this first)
- From the Fire TV home screen, select the search icon (top left).
- Type IPTV Smarters Pro. IBO Player Pro and TiviMate are the other mainstream choices — see the player comparison.
- Open the result and choose Get or Download.
- When it finishes, choose Open.
Two clicks and no settings changed. This works for most people in most regions.
Route B: Downloader, when the store has nothing
The Appstore catalogue is not identical in every country, and it follows the country on your Amazon account rather than where you physically are. If search returns nothing, this is why — and sideloading is the normal answer, not a workaround.
- Install Downloader from the Appstore (it is available everywhere).
- Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options. If you do not see Developer options, go to Settings → My Fire TV → About and click Fire TV Stick seven times to reveal it.
- Turn on Install unknown apps and enable it for Downloader.
- Open Downloader, enter the APK address your provider gave you, and install.
- Turn the permission back off afterwards if you prefer.
Nothing here voids a warranty or “jailbreaks” anything — these are Amazon’s own documented settings. If you are unsure which APK to use, ask us on WhatsApp with your region rather than downloading from a random site.
Signing in
Open the player and choose Login with Xtream Codes API, not “Load playlist from URL” — the API route brings the TV guide, the on-demand library and catch-up with it.
- Any name — a label on your device. “MizoIPTV” is fine.
- Username — exactly as sent, capitals included.
- Password — the same.
- Server URL — the full address with
http://and the port number. A missing port is the cause of almost every “invalid credentials” error, and the message never says so.
Activation takes 30 minutes to 2 hours after an order is confirmed, so if the login is rejected immediately after paying, give it a little time before troubleshooting.
The settings worth changing

Free up what Amazon is using
Settings → Preferences → Privacy Settings: turn off Device Usage Data, Collect App Usage Data and Interest-based Ads. Then Settings → Applications → turn off Collect App Usage Data. This genuinely returns bandwidth and processor time that the stick was spending on telemetry.
Keeping it quick
- Restart weekly. Settings → My Fire TV → Restart. Fire Sticks degrade when left running for weeks.
- Clear the player cache monthly — cache, never data.
- Keep storage free. Uninstall apps you do not open; a full stick stutters at everything.
- Use the HDMI extender. A stick with no airflow throttles after twenty minutes.
A note on models
The 4K Max is the one to buy: more memory, which matters when the app is holding a very large channel list and a 7-day guide. The HD and Lite models work but cap at 1080p and struggle with big line-ups. No Fire TV device outputs 8K.
